Press Release Summary = Apple wins two of the first ever-held IT-Enquirer Awards.
IT-Enquirer Awards are based on visitors\' votes in 10 categories. Apple\'s Aperture
received a Golden Cube Award for Best Photography software, and its word processor
with light DTP features received a Silver Cube Award in the Desktop Publishing and
Graphics Design category.

publishers, graphic designers, photographers and everyone who is professionally
active in the creative industries, on September 15 announces the first IT-Enquirer
Awards of Excellence.

The IT-Enquirer Awards are handed out to products and services that IT-Enquirer
visitors have been voting for from the beginning of July until the end of August.
There were ten categories with products to vote for: Scanners, Inkjet photo
printers, Large Format printers, Colour management, Digital asset management,
Photography (no cameras), PDF workflow, DTP and Graphic design, Web design, and Mac
OS X productivity tools. Voting was open to all visitors of the web site.

The IT-Enquirer Golden Cube is awarded to the product that received the largest
number of votes. A Silver Cube is awarded to the runner-up.

Apple won the first IT-Enquirer Golden Cube in the category Photography for its
professional digital photo management application Aperture. Aperture also received
the largest number of votes overall, with a whopping 57%.

In the category Desktop Publishing and Graphic Design, Apple surprised by winning a
Silver Cube for its word processor with DTP features, Pages. The difference between
Pages and the winner of the Golden Cube, InDesign CS2 was only 8%.
